Good luck any club trying to enforce this, the AI distraction / object remove tool is with us now. Also how crazy, they seam to be saying that AI noise reduction whether Lightroom or Topaz is not allowed.

I agree with Simon. AI is now so entwined with Photoshop/Lightroom that it has now become unenforceable.

Interesting read - it goes much further than I expected and effectively means that Topaz Denoise as well as Photoshop 'remove' and neural filters are banned. I can see the rationale but no idea how this could ever be enforced.

I believe the group that wrote this are effectively trying to draw a line in the sand, declaring that no further progress in photo editing should be allowed. You could call them the King Cnut of the photographic world!

Rather than saying no AI should be allowed, we ought to be having a discussion about the image itself – and whether what is produced remains true to it.

Talk about shutting the gate after the horse has bolted.....or, it's too late, the Genie is out of the bottle.....or any other idiom you can think of.  Sheesh!
