Aldershot, Farnham & Fleet Camera Club cordially invites the members of Yateley Camera Club and Farnborough Camera Club to the 2026/2027 running of the Spectrum & Heywood Trophy competitions. These will be hosted by AFFCC on Wednesday 21st October 2026 from 8 to 10pm and will be held at Hale Village Hall, 1 Wings Road, Farnham GU9 0HN.
By way of reminder, the Heywood Trophy is an open competition and this year the theme for the Spectrum Trophy is ‘Natural History’. There are many definitions of this and it might be helpful to quote a few:
- the systematic study of plants, animals and other organisms in their natural environments
- the close observation of organisms - their origins, evolution, behaviour and relationships with other species
- accurate, unmanipulated depiction of untamed flora, fauna and geological phenomena in their natural habitat.
The judge for this competition will be Roger Creber ARPS EFIAP DPAGB.

Entries should have filenames in the following format:
<Spectrum|Heywood>_<Photographer>_<Club initials>_<Title>.jpg
e.g. Spectrum_John Smith_AFFCC_My photo.jpg
The deadline for submissions is midnight on Friday 16th October 2026. We look forward to seeing your entries and to hosting you on the night.
